What is Bizcamp?

A free conference/ gathering which is happening in Galway on Saturday 11 September 2010. The venue is the Cairnes Building, NUI Galway.

It's based on the fact that each of us as entrepreneurs have loads to learn from our peers. And we have a lot to share with them as well. There are a lot of great things happening in the Irish Economy – especially in small and medium businesses and this day will be a celebration of those.

It's also a great place to come for people who are actively looking at starting up. Your start-up concept could be Ireland's next business success story – and BizCamp might be the place to get it started!

New Web Presence For Safeway Health And Safety Services

Safeway Health and Safety Services are a Mayo based provider of health and safety training and consultancy.

New design, new web site

We worked with Safeway to replace their existing website with a modern and easy to use website. The new web site more accurately reflects Safeway's brand and makes it easier for Safeway to manage course content and share information with their clients.

Joining the cloud

As Safeway often provide consultancy and training at their clients' sites, remote access to documents and emails is essential. We replaced their old email and document management system with a modern cloud based solution providing much more flexibility for Safeway's administrative staff and trainers.

WordPress 3.0 "Thelonious" features some great new featues to make life easier for bloggers and publishers.

It is now possible top set your admin username to anything you like during installation.

A new more user centric back-end interface features a lighter look with less distractions and context sensitive help.

Using the Grand Unified Updater we can now update our Wordpress installation, themes and plugins all in one place.

A great new default theme called Twenty Ten accompanies the latest release. It has built-in support for child themes, background alterations, header customization, and drop-down menus. Twenty Ten demo.

The custom menu system means that we can hand craft the navigation for our Wordpress sites - Great for SEO.
